Office
Wear For Ladies & Gents
A darted blouse with half sleeve, hip length, teams up with a straight
and easy fitting pant. A full sleeve shirt with high armhole, straight
cut, in large, subtle prints, pastel colours or dark colours, but
not loud ones please. Plain coloured shirt can be teamed up with
a sleeveless blouse or a singlet with prints or striped tops. Pants
or trousers with flat fronts or single pleated ones make a perfect
combination. Cropped trousers are in for office attires this season.
Knee or calf length skirts with pockets makes a good option for
the season.
A simple plain coloured kurta stylized either cut wise or at neckline
with short sleeves, printed dupatta goes along with salwar or churidar.
Prints are in this season, so try combining plain coloured dupatta
with printed kurta or vice versa. Subtle embroidery along the neckline
or sleeve hem or small motifs spread over gives that ethnic touch
for working woman. Try using kurtas with straight pants accessorised
with scarf. Chiffon makes a better choice for this summer.
Sari in cotton, silk or chiffon with simple and light prints with
plain half sleeve blouse. Plain saris with thin borders and not
too heavy or striking 'pallav'. Trendy blouses made of knits or
lycra are a good option for office wear.
A loose blouse with collars, tucked in with trousers along with
a coat not too lengthy. A sheer stripped blouse or shirt with pencil
skirts, knee length or calf length, with short jackets.
A plain shirt with blue or black trousers with matching tie is the
best formal dress for office going men.Business man can also wear
blazer .
Occasional Wear
For marriage or other formal occasions, get into rich and glamorous
outfits that one don't get to take out otherwise.

How about those Kancheepuram silk saris or the richly woven paithanis
and jamdani. If you don't have one there are lots of option with
hand woven silk saris with intricate borders and pallav. Try a heavily
embroidered sari.
Sherwanis - embroidered teamed up with salwar or gaghras. Gaghra
- choli in brocade fabric with embroidered dupatta. Salwar kameez
with capes or long jackets.
Casual Wear
Lots of colour, prints and metallic fabrics make way for casuals
this season. Short dresses are in. Strappy tops teamed up with front
tie blouse and printed floral cropped trousers are in.
Asymmetric cuts, tops and skirts in metallic fabrics. Beaded dresses,
beaded halter dresses or sequined blouses with lycra skirts or beaded
sheer skirts.

Party Wear
Hot pants in metallic fabrics, tops in lurex.
Beaded short skirts in sheer material with sequined bikini top.Slim,
transparent pants with ethnic patchwork tops or shirts.
Loose drawstring pants and knotted hand painted chiffon shirts.
How about some ethnic printed, large flower printed tops with dark,
bright coloured hot pants?

embroidred sari or sharara with matching jewellery will also be
